Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and CometCoreLabs (“Chron,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the Chron platform, websites, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@chron.com of any unauthorized use.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) until cancelled. By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge the plan fees and any applicable taxes for each billing cycle.

Free trial: we may offer a 14-day free trial. Unless cancelled before it ends, your account will convert to a paid plan automatically.

Cancellation: you may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Price changes:we may change our prices on at least 30 days’ notice. Changes apply to renewals after the notice period.

You agree not to:

• Violate any law or third-party right
• Upload content that is unlawful, deceptive, infringing, defamatory, or harmful
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited marketing to your clients
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass security measures
• Interfere with the Service, attempt to overload it, or use it to harm others
• Resell the Service except as expressly permitted by us

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You retain ownership of the content you upload — including your branding, business information, services, schedules, and client data (“Customer Content”). You grant Chron a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and process Customer Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You are responsible for the legality of Customer Content and for obtaining all necessary rights and consents from your clients.

Chron is a tool you use to operate your business. Any contract for goods or services booked through Chron is between you and your client. Chron is not a party to those transactions and is not responsible for fulfilling them, handling disputes, or issuing refunds for your services.

Where the Service supports payment collection, payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. You agree to comply with their terms. Chron is not responsible for actions, fees, or disputes handled by those providers.

Chron integrates with third-party services to provide certain features. If you connect Google Calendar, your use of that integration is also subject to Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Chron’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how Google user data is accessed, used, and protected. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your dashboard or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and trademarks (other than Customer Content), is owned by CometCoreLabs or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may retain and use information as described in the Privacy Policy and as required by law.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CometCoreLabs and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CometCoreLabs and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your Customer Content, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
